IHS and Spartan have the solution...the Spartan 1401 Notebook
combined with the Mobile/Wireless Educational Cart.
The Spartan 1401 Notebook is a slim laptop with a 14.1" XGA Active
Color Display. The Spartan 1401 Notebook uses the IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4
processor and comes with a long lasting Lithium-Ion battery. Each notebook
comes with a built-in wireless LAN that connects to base station for
wire-free access to all your network resources.
The Mobile/Wireless Educational Cart comes in two sizes that hold
20 or 30 notebooks. It is the only laptop storage cart that is UL-approved
for electrical and cabinet specifications. The Educational Cart has a
built-in power supply, so you can store and charge all notebooks at the
same time using a single wall outlet. The doors on each side have flush
mount locks and open out flat for easy loading and unloading. Each cart
has two recessed external power outlets and LAN connections for
projectors, scanners, printers, etc. Made of heavy-duty gauge silver
metallic steel with white accents, each cart has 5" casters for easy
mobility and steering.
